Burchart, Adam James Edmund. Passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Yarrow, BC at 18 years of age. He was born in Victoria General Hospital, Victoria, BC, January 10, 1995.
Adam is survived by his adoring family, parents James and Sheilagh, brother Sam, and sister Leah. He was cherished by his grandparents Ed and Marg Burchart, his aunts and uncles Cathy (James), Alison (Kim), Chris (Wade), John (Lisa), Jason (Tara), Malcolm, and many loving cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his beloved grandmother Georgie and his inspiring uncle Willy. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 7, at 2 p.m., Broadway Mennonite Brethren Church, 46611 Maple Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
A viewing for family and friends will he held on Friday, September 6, 4-8 pm, Broadway Mennonite Brethren Church, 46611 Maple Avenue, Chilliwack, BC.
Visitation will be held on Friday at HENDERSON'S, September 6; 4-8pm.
Memorial donations may be made to Chilliwack Minor Baseball League.
From the moment that he could walk Adam ran wherever he went. But he was never in too much of a hurry to stop and ask how his family members were or to rub his pets' tummies. He spent many boyhood hours with close friends swimming in the lake, lazing in the sun, and building an amazing fort by the railway. He was a gifted pitcher for Chilliwack Minor League Baseball, helping his team win both provincial and Western Canadian championships. When he was older he was always on call to give a ride, move furniture, to console, encourage, or entertain. He fell in love with a beautiful girl.
He had a great work ethic and was respected by his bosses and co-workers.
He loved growing up in Chilliwack said he never wanted to leave this beautiful place. Adam was a burning bright light who, in his short life, was well loved and loved well. Henderson's Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
