December 16, 1927 - June 13, 2021
On Sunday, June 13, 2021 at noon at the age of 93 Abe Pankratz passed into his precious heavenly Father's arms.
He will be so lovingly treasured and remembered by his faithful and loving wife of 71 years, Helen, five children and their spouses; Greg (Val), Bonnie (Merv), Pearl (Jerry), Julia (Gary), Ted (Brenda), 33 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one brother, four sisters, many other relatives and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Abram and Mary, sisters; Mary (who died as a child), Elsie and Leona, brothers John and Henry and brothers-in-law; Peter Rempel, Jake Olfert, Bill Friesen and Stan Clifford.
Abe began life on December 16, 1927 in Leroy, Saskatchewan moving to Ferndale as a young boy. He was a man of unwavering faith, integrity, generosity and kind-heartedness. Abe had an unconditional love for his family and a giving spirit that reached out into the community and beyond. His great sense of humour will also be missed. He was also a forever member at Cedar Valley Church and loved to share stories of its beginning.
Abe (son, brother, husband, Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa) is truly leaving a "LEGACY" that words can not describe. But I have heard it said "If you want it done the right way, do it the ABE WAY!"
We will be celebrating Abe's 'going home' on Saturday, August 7th 2021 at 11:00 at Cedar Valley Church, 32840 Janzen Avenue, Mission.
