It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Ron. Born on August 15, 1918 dad has now joined his wife in the presence of his Lord on October 1, 2007. Predeceased by his wife, Eileen Loewen. Ron is survived by children Gary (Margaret), Brian (Rosa), Denis (Charlene), Shelly (Jim), Janice (Dan), 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-granchildren. Also survived by second wife Irma Loewen as well as many extended family members and friends. Ron was a devoted, loving and caring family man with a gentle nature who had a great sense of humor and enjoyed travelling and music. He will forever be loved and cherished by all who knew him.
A private graveside service is being held. All are invited to join the family at the Celebration of Life on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 2:30 pm Peachland Baptist Church 4214 Lake Avenue Peachland, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to; Children's Fund of Canada www.ccfcanada.ca
