1916 - 2009
Surrounded by loved ones, Alice passed into the presence of her Lord, on January 26, 2009, at Manoah Manor in Langley, at the age of 92. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Alice (Frank), daughter Tina (Michael), son Dirk (Marj), daughter Gerrie (David), and son Gerrit (Grace), plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also two sisters, Trijntje and Hennie, in The Netherlands, sister-in-law Mag, from Langley, and Corrie, from The Netherlands, and many nieces and nephews both in Canada and The Netherlands, and her friends near and far.
Thank you to all the staff at Manoah Manor, who took such great care of mom, especially during her last days. A memorial service will be held, Monday, February 2, 2009, at the Canadian Reformed Church, 33947 King Road, Abbotsford, at 1:00 pm.
