Application for a Permit Amendment under the provisions of the Environmental Management Act
We, Target Product Ltd., 1080 Bradner Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia V4X 1H8, intend to submit this application to the Director to amend Air Permit 13640, issued June 6th, 1995, which authorizes the discharge of air emissions from a sand and gravel aggregate drying facility.
The land upon which the facility will be situated, and the discharge will occur is the land parcel with PID: 013-332-465, located at 1080 Bradner Road, Abbotsford, British Columbia V4X 1H8, within the New Westminster municipality.
The maximum rate of air emissions discharged from this facility will be 1155 Sm3/min, 240 Sm3/min, 75 Sm3/min, 205 Sm3/min, 90 Sm3/min, 220 Sm3/min, 220 Sm3/min, 410 Sm3/min, 75 Sm3/min, 365 Sm3/min, 25 Sm3/min, 65 Sm3/min, and 35 Sm3/min for the Natural Gas Dryer and Baghouse, Forestry Baghouse, Rock Silo Baghouse, Hot Feed Baghouse, Truck Feed Baghouse, Cement Line Baghouse, Sand Line Baghouse, Concrete Line Baghouse, Aggregate Bin Baghouse, Mixer Baghouse, Pail Station Baghouse, O-Line Baghouse, and Central Vacuum Baghouse, respectively. The operating period for this facility will be 20 hours/day, 7 days/week, equalling a total of 7280 hours per year. The characteristics of the air emission are as follows: particulate matter with a maximum concentration of 50 mg/m3 for natural gas dryer baghouse, and 20 mg/m3 for the rest of the baghouses. Baghouses will be used to treat the discharge.
Any person who may be adversely affected by the proposed discharge of waste and wishes to provide relevant information may, within 30 days after the last date of posting, publishing, service or display, send written comments to the applicant, with a copy to the Director, Environmental Protection at Industrial.Waste.Authorizations@gov.bc.ca. The identity of any respondents and the contents of anything submitted in relation to this application will become part of the public record.
