Two more days of sun, before we’re back to the rain. Heavy congestion past the Port Mann Bridge

Good morning! It was a mainly clear start to the day at 1 C as of 7 a.m., and the Environment Canada weather service tells us we’ve got 78 per cent humidity and 6 km/h winds from the north-northeast.

We’ve got a couple more days of clear skies ahead of us, with sunny skies today and a high of 9 C, dipping to a low of -1 C tonight, and mainly sunny skies tomorrow with a high of 6 C. But tomorrow night, we’ll see the clouds roll in, with a 60 per cent chance of showers. It’s only downhill from there.

From Thursday to next Monday, we’re looking at everything form a chance of showers to rain, with highs ranging from 6 to 9 C and lows from 3 to 4 C. The sun was nice while it lasted.

Currently, visibility is 48 kilometres.

On clear roads and driving at the speed limit, a drive from the Abbotsford News building to Downtown Vancouver would take 50 minutes.

Today, your daily commute time as of 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2018 is one hour 26 minutes, a couple small sections of congestion in Abbotsford and near Aldergrove, before getting into more heavy congestion through Surrey and past the Port Mann Bridge.
