A driver has been taken to hospital after a roll-over accident today (Wednesday) in Abbotsford.
Fire, ambulance and police personnel were dispatched at about 12:30 p.m. to South Parallel Road near No. 3 Road.
When they arrived, they discovered that an eastbound dump truck had blown a tire, gone off the road and ended up on its roof.
The driver was conscious at the scene and did not suffer serious injuries.
Traffic on South Parallel Way is being detoured in the vicinity of the crash, while traffic on Highway 1 – which runs parallel to the road – is at a crawl.
