Mill Lake Park is back open after sustaining significant damage in last week’s ice storm. The remnants of downed trees and branches are everywhere, as the ice begins to melt.
While signs say the park was closed until Jan. 2 and many people took advantage of the good weather to walk around the lake, a city spokesperson has told The News the park remains closed as crews continue to assess damage.
