VIDEO: Man hospitalized after knife pulled in fight between co-workers

Victim hospitalized with ‘knife wounds’ after police say weapon pulled during fight

One person was taken to hospital after a knife was used in a fight between co-workers in Abbotsford Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the parking lot, in the 33100 block of Mill Lake Road, around 5:30 p.m.

Abbotsford Police Sgt. Judy Bird said two employees from a nearby business disliked each other and decided to fight in a parking lot. One man pulled a knife during the altercation, and left the other with what Bird described as “knife wounds.”

The man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Police, meanwhile, identified the suspect, and Bird said the public is not at risk.

While the incident occurred in the parking lot of Panago Pizza, the employees were not from the business.
