Amber Harper Young performs on Friday during the opening weekend of Yuk Yuk’s comedy club on Pauline Street in downtown Abbotsford. The headliner was comedian and actor Mike MacDonald. Stand-up comedy performances take place every Thursday to Saturday, with amateur night on Wednesdays.

VIDEO: Jerry Seinfeld and others talk about the worst times they bombed on stage

If your set at Abbotsford’s Yuk Yuk’s new open mic didn’t go so well last night, watch this

Amatuer comics who think they bombed at the new open-mic-night at Abbotsford’s Yuk Yuk’s comedy club may feel less shame after hearing these famous comics talk about their stage-fails.

Almost every new comedian experiences humiliation. If you embarrassed yourself last night it doesn’t mean you suck and should never show your face in public again.

Well it might, The News wasn’t actually there.

But even so, try listening to these comedians talk about the rough times and you might feel better.

Want to try the open-mic? Go Yuk Yuk’s at 8 p.m. on Thursday and see if you’re funny.
