Local firefighters battle blaze at 2 a.m. on Monday

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service battled an early-morning fire on Lynn Avenue in central Abbotsford on Monday.

Crews were called to a condo complex and arrived to find the back of one unit involved and spreading to two other nearby units.

Quick action from the crews led to the fire being contained.

This was the same location where a fire occurred last year in which two cars were torched.

The Abbotsford Police Department also sent out a press release stating that the fire has been deemed suspicious.

There were no injuries in the blaze, but investigators are in the preliminary stages of the investigation. Further details will be released once determined.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to contact the APD at 604-859-5225, text 222973 (abbypd), or report anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS) or online at Solvecrime.ca.
