A 78-year-old woman on a mobility scooter died after she was struck by a vehicle on Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred at about 2 p.m. in the area of Blue Jay Street and Maclure Road.
The woman was travelling south on Blue Jay Street when she was struck by a Ford Focus – driven by a 28-year-old man – heading east on Maclure Road.
The woman was airlifted to hospital, where she died of her injuries the following day.
The driver remained on the scene and has co-operated with police.
Police have not released details about the exact circumstances of the collision.
