A rear-ender collision on Wednesday morning in Abbotsford resulted in a van ending up in a water-filled ditch.
Firefighters and police were called to the scene on Sumas Way south of Vye Road at about 11 a.m. Southbound traffic on Sumas Way at Vye Road was completely stopped while the scene was cleared.
Sources on the scene indicate that the van, which was in a ditch on the east side of Sumas Way, rear-ended a truck. There were no injuries. Traffic was diverted westbound onto Vye Road for about 45 minutes while the scene was cleared.
All traffic is now getting through in both directions.
Several accidents occurred throughout the city earlier this week.
