Two people sent to hospital after collision in Abbotsford

One driver with serious injuries, one with non-life-threatening after crash at Harris and Gladwin

Two people were sent to hospital following a serious collision Thursday afternoon (March 11) at the intersection of Gladwin and Harris roads in Abbotsford.

An SUV and a sedan collided, leaving one of the vehicles in a deep ditch off the road.

The passenger of the Jeep was taken to hospital by air ambulance for treatment of serious injuries, while the driver of the sedan was taken to hospital by BC Ambulance Service for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Abbotsford Emergency Services arrived on scene at 2:44 p.m. Abbotsford Police patrol officers and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service remain on scene and have shut down the intersection as they investigate.
