Abbotsford Police are looking for two suspects in a robbery at a Future Shop store.

Police are looking for two men who stole items from the Future Shop store in Abbotsford on Friday night and used bear spray on employees who chased them.

The incident took place at about 7 p.m. at the location in West Oaks Mall.

Const. Ian MacDonald said two men shoplifted a security camera kit worth about $500 and were chased by a group of workers as they tried to get away.

The suspects dispersed the bear spray in the front entrance of the store, between two sets of doors, and fled from the scene in a dark-coloured import sedan similar to a Honda, MacDonald said.

Six workers were treated at the scene for the effects of the bear spray.

The suspects are both described as between 25 and 30 years old, 5' 8" to six feet tall, 170 to 190 pounds and with dark, short hair.

One was wearing a grey zip-up hoodie, a black shirt, black jeans, and grey and black Nike runners.

The other wore a blue and white baseball cap, a black jacket, a red shirt, grey jeans, and black and white Adidas runners.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Abbotsford Police Department at 604-859-5225 or text abbypd (222973).
