A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital following an incident on Highway 1 in Abbotsford on Friday.
Initial reports indicate the woman was in a car behind a vehicle that lost a tire at about 11:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes east of Cole Road.
The tire apparently hit the vehicle behind, causing the airbags to deploy.
Traffic was slow in the area following the crash, but the vehicles were cleared by about 12:15 p.m.
