Ticketmaster is the new official ticket provider for the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC), announced Mayor Bruce Banman on Wednesday.
Global Spectrum, operators of the AESC, have chosen Ticketmaster as ticket provider for the 6,700-seat venue effective immediately.
“The City of Abbotsford has been working closely with Global Spectrum and the Abbotsford Heat reviewing the operating costs for the AESC, including those related to ticketing,” said Banman.
“Ticketmaster, with their highly recognizable brand and proven customer service, will provide a positive boost for ticketing and attendance which will help to improve the bottom-line.”
There are Ticketmaster outlets at the Sevenoaks Shopping Centre in Abbotsford, Soccerplus in Chilliwack, and Willowbrook Mall in Langley.
“Ticketmaster is recognized as the industry leader in ticketing,” said AESC general manager, Jason Blumenfeld. “Their brand and networking database provides customers with access to information on upcoming tours and events, special ticket offers, and exclusive pre-sales.”
Tickets for all upcoming events can be purchased at Ticketmaster.ca, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at 1-855-985-5000, from the Abbotsford Heat sales department (1-877-452-4328), and at the AESC box office.
