Three car crashes in five minutes

Abbotsford Police responded to three car accidents within five minutes of each other Tuesday afternoon.

Abbotsford Police responded to three car accidents within five minutes of each other Tuesday afternoon.

Const. Ian MacDonald said all took place between 3 and 3:05 p.m., and can be attributed to “the mini rush hour after school lets out.”

Two of the accidents involved three cars each. One was on Old Clayburn Road near Margaret Stenersen elementary, and the other was on Harris Road near Glenmore. The third, involving two cars, was at Selkirk and McKee.

All were considered “fender benders” and did not involve any serious injuries.
