The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is investigating three separate incidents of mischief at a cell tower in the 35000 block of Raven Court on Eagle Mountain.

APD media relations officer Sgt. Paul Walker said the incidents took place on the evenings of Jan. 1, 8 and 12, causing thousands of dollars in damages to communications equipment on the site.

“Damage to critical infrastructure of this nature is very concerning to the AbbyPD,” he said.

“Additionally, incidents like this can impact calls to 911 from callers using cellphones around the cell tower should the equipment be taken offline.”

The APD is releasing images of the suspect in hopes of identifying the person. Anyone with information is asked to call the APD at 604-859-5225.
