A Mission man has pleaded guilty to participating in the Stanley Cup riot of June 2011.
Bradley James Peters, 20, formerly of Abbotsford, entered the plea last Thursday in Vancouver provincial court. He is scheduled for sentencing on April 12, and three counts of mischief against him are expected to be stayed.
Peters is among 275 people who have been charged or who have had charges recommended against them, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
A total of 872 charges have been recommended to Crown counsel or have already been approved.
Among the accused rioters are eight from Abbotsford and three from Mission.
Luke Patillo, 21, of Abbotsford pleaded guilty earlier this year to taking part in a riot and received a 45-day prison term to be served on weekends.
The riot occurred on June 15, 2011 in Vancouver's downtown core after the Vancouver Canucks lost to the Boston Bruins in game seven of the Stanley Cup finals.
