Abbotsford Police released this composite sketch of a suspect in a sexual assault on Peardonville Road on July 14.


An 18-year-old woman was working outside in a parking lot in the 31700 block of Peardonville Road in Abbotsford when she was grabbed by a man on Monday, July 14, just after 11 a.m.

A man approached her and engaged her in conversation, which became inappropriate. He then suddenly grabbed the victim by wrapping an arm around her body. She was able to break free by pushing him away.

The Abbotsford Police Department was contacted once she had safely fled the area.

The suspect is described as a South Asian male, 40 to 50 years of age, 5’ 7”, clean-shaven, with short black hair, a large nose, and a heavy build with a large belly (see composite sketch).

At the time of the assault, the suspect was wearing a red-and-brown, collared. short-sleeved shirt, long pants, and black shoes.
