Abbotsford Police Const. Paul Walker said the man was walking along Seldon Road, which connects Clayburn and Downes roads, when he was hit by a northbound City of Abbotsford van around 9 a.m.

The driver of the van remained on the scene and is co-operating with police, Walker said.
