RCMP called to shooting Wednesday morning

A Delta man suffered a non life threatening gunshot wound on a rural Mission property

A 31-year-old Delta man was shot Wednesday morning after a home invasion at a medicinal marijuana grow operation on a rural Mission property on Pilgrim Street.

His injuries are non life threatening, say police.

While there were two other people in the residence at the time of the incident, RCMP are not releasing any further details.

“It appears that this medicinal marijuana grow op rip was a targeted incident and I want to ensure the public that the members are working very diligently to find out who is responsible for this crime,” says Cpl. Sharon Siluch.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161 or Crimestoppers at 604-669-TIPS (8477).
