Prospera Credit Union reported strong financial results for 2015 at its annual general meeting April 14.
Assets under management surpassed $3.6 billion in 2015, primarily the result of growth on the balance sheet, which grew by $236 million.
Members' equity grew $8.1 million to $124 million.
Three directors were re-elected for a further three-year term: Tracy Gray, Karen Laing and Pauline Havelock.
There was a presentation of the Ron Sweeney Rising Star Award for young Prospera members who embody the late Ron Sweeney's spirit of volunteerism.
The honour went to Chilliwack's Sydney Torok, who is attending the University of Victoria and plans to become a clinical pharmacist.
