UPDATE: The Abbotsford Police Department reported on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 2 that John Brooks had been found safe and sound.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) is asking for the public’s help in trying to locate a missing 77-year-old man.

Police say that John Brooks was last seen at about 3 p.m. yesterday (June 1) in the area of Marshall and McCallum roads as he was getting onto a bus.

Brooks might be disoriented or confused, police say.

“Family is very concerned about him, as he may require medication.”

Brooks is five-foot-nine with a slim build, short grey hair, hazel eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing dark pants and a burgundy collared shirt under a black jacket.
