A pedestrian was struck by a car on Saturday at South Fraser Way and Gladwin Road.
Police responded around 4:30 p.m. to reports a pedestrian being hit.
When crews arrived they found a woman on the ground that had been struck by a car coming out of the Wendy’s parking lot. It appears that the woman was trapped for a time under the car and a few bystanders lifted the car to get her out from the tire.
The woman was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
