As the Nov. 15 municipal election draws closer, parodies of mayoral candidates’ online profiles have sprung up.
There are two candidates seeking election, incumbent Bruce Banman and current city councillor Henry Braun.
Banman’s official campaign website is found at brucebanman.com, but a site mocking the mayor was created at brucebanman.ca with the slogan “Bruce Banman for Chiropractor.”
Braun uses the social media site Twitter under the handle @HenryBraun2014. An account called @VoteHenryBrown tweeted at Braun saying “I hope there’s confusion on the ballot on Nov 15.” There is no candidate named Henry Brown.
