Snow did not deter these runners in the Running Room's 32 annual Resolution Run at Mill Lake on Sunday morning.

Abbotsford residents awoke to a white New Year's day as a significant snowfall brought both challenges and celebrations Sunday.

Environment Canada reported 10 cm snow had fallen during the night.  While city crews had their hands full coping with road clearing, by Sunday morning most major streets were clear.  Secondary roads are still very icy.  Drivers are advised that ice and snow bombs may fall from hydro wires and taller trees so be cautious.

Runners in the 32nd annual Resolution Run walked and jogged through over 10 cm of snow around Mill Lake on Sunday morning.  56 locations across Canada participate in this yearly event.  More than 100 participated in this years Abbotsford event sponsored by the Running Room.
