Several mid-afternoon collisions snarled up traffic on Highway 1 heading eastbound through Abbotsford for several hours beginning around 3 p.m.
Initial reports suggest several vehicles were involved in at least two accidents between McCallum and No. 3 Road, and ambulances, police and fire units were called.
After two hours, one of the crash scenes was declared cleared, the one located eastbound on Hwy 1 before No 3 Rd. (Exit 104).
The other accident was located on South Parallell Road between Whatcom and No. 3.
