Surrey Mounties are trying to identify two men in connection with an investigation into a stabbing in Whalley that happened on August 17, 2023 in the 10200-block of King George Boulevard.

Sgt. Tammy Lobb said a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after the stabbing, which happened at 5:47 p.m.

She said the Surrey RCMP General Investigation Unit “has been actively working to identify two males who are believed to be involved in this incident. Although a motive has not yet been identified, it appears to have been a targeted incident.”

One of the suspects was wearing a black T-shirt, beige pants and white shoes and has tattoos on both arms while the other suspect wore a grey T-shirt, blue jeans, black and white runners and carrying a black bag.

“This suspect has a visible tattoo on his left hand,” Lobb said.

Police are asking anyone with information that can assist with advancing the ongoing investigation to call the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
