A Chilliwack man with a long criminal history is facing new charges after he was recently arrested in Abbotsford.
On June 25, police arrested a man in a green van who had been spotted travelling east on George Ferguson Way.
Chilliwack RCMP say the man was “well-known to police” and was prohibited from driving. After Chilliwack RCMP’s crime reduction unit and members of the Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team arrested the man, Mounties said they found break-in tools and illegal drugs inside the van.
Shaun Darryl Bolko, 33, has been remanded in custody to face one count of driving while prohibited and six counts of breach of probation.
Bolko is also facing two previous charges of driving while prohibited.
