Mission Raceway Park is reaching out to people impacted by today’s new flooding.

An evacuation order was issued for the Huntingdon Village area of Abbotsford, as rain continues to fall. Residents in the area have been told to leave immediately.

A post on the raceway’s Facebook page reads:

“Dear people of Arnold, Huntingdon, Sumas and anywhere else that can get to us…if you need a place to put your equipment or RV we have temporary space and we can take it immediately. Our washrooms are winterized and we have no hookups but if you are temporarily displaced please reach out via messenger and we will get you in the gate!”

The post goes on to tell people in order to get to the raceway they will have to get on Highway 11 via Seldon Road or Townshipline Road.
