The Abbotsford Police Department (APD) announced this morning that a man reported missing on Saturday has turned up safe.
Const. Ian MacDonald said Mark Craig Linton, 41, turned up yesterday (Monday) at the home of a family member in Abbotsford. It was not clear where Linton had been until then.
Police were contacted on Saturday by a family member, who said they were worried about Linton. He had last been seen leaving his apartment complex at 5 a.m. that day, carrying a backpack and a bedroll.
Family members told police that Linton had been distraught due to some current challenges he was dealing with.
The following day, police released still images from security video, showing Linton leaving his apartment building.
