Man killed near Vancouver’s West End

Police say the man was likely injured in the Downtown Eastside before walking to the West End and collapsing

Vancouver police are investigating after a man was found in the West End with life-threatening injuries and died in hospital.

Officers found the 43-year-old man in the area of Robson and Denman streets around 10 a.m. on Thursday, police said in a news release. They did not specify his injuries, but believe he was initially wounded in the Downtown Eastside.

He was taken to hospital, but did not survive. No arrests have been reported.

This marks the city’s ninth homicide of the year.
