Former Abbotsford resident Justin Goodrich is running for a councillor’s seat in Vancouver.

A prominent former Abbotsford resident will be seeking office in Vancouver this fall on the ticket of one of the city’s major political parties.

Justin Goodrich, a public relations executive who serves as vice-chair of the University of the Fraser Valley board of governors, was selected last week to run for council for Vancouver’s Non-Partisan Association, a centre-right political organization.

Four years ago, Goodrich moderated the mayoral debate between Henry Braun and Bruce Banman. He moved to Vancouver’s West End in 2017 after helping start Alliance Public Affairs Group, which is based in Gastown. He had previously lived in Abbotsford for close to a decade.
