It’s a snow day for all schools in Abbotsford

Snowfall warning remains in effect, with another 5 to 10 cm expected

All schools in Abbotsford are closed today, as a snowfall warning remains in effect.

The closure affects all public and private schools, as well as University of the Fraser Valley.

Meanwhile, Environment Canada says snow today will be heavy and blowing at times, with another five to 10 centimetres expected throughout the day in Abbotsford.

The snow is expected to taper off this afternoon into the early evening.

Drivers are advised to use caution, as road conditions are slick in some areas, and some cars have been reported in ditches.
