An inmate is missing from Mission's Ferndale Institution.
During the 11 p.m. count on Sept. 9, Corrections officers noted Walter George Saunders, 53, was not present. RCMP have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Saunders is described as 5'7" tall, 201 pounds, with brown eyes, and grey hair. He is partially bald. He also has a dragon tattoo on his upper left arm, a scorpion on his right forearm, and Tasmanian devil on the upper right arm.
