Multi-platinum pop stars and Juno Award winners Hedley have announced additional dates on their coast-to-coast Wild Live Tour, including a stop at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC) on April 12.

Tickets for the Abbotsford show go on sale Friday, Nov. 29 starting at 10 a.m.

The Wild Live Tour supports the band's fifth album, Wild Life, and kicks off in Prince George on Feb. 14.

The tour will be the band's most extensive to date with more than 30 shows across the country.

Joining Hedley on the second half of the tour, starting in Toronto on March 27, will be Classified and USS.

The band has four consecutive multiplatinum albums behind them – Hedley (2005), Famous Last Words (2007), The Show Must Go (2009) and Storms (2011) – and almost a million albums sold.

The new album bridges classic Hedley pop anthems and ballads with R&B-infused tracks and electro-pop tunes.

"Anything" is Hedley's fastest selling single to date, already reaching platinum-selling status and currently in the Top 10 at Pop & Hot AC radio.

Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard of Abbotsford  first rose to national stardom when he finished third in the second season of Canadian Idol in 2004.

Tickets for the Abbotsford show are available by phone at 1-866-977-2372, online at abbotsfordcentre.ca, or in person at the AESC box office (33800 King Rd.), the Abbotsford and Matsqui recreation centres, and Whatcom Wine and Spirits.

Doors for the concert open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 7 p.m.
