University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford and Chilliwack has cancelled its classes this afternoon (Friday) from 2:30 p.m. onwards, due to the heavy snow and deteriorating road conditions.
All campuses will remain open until 3 p.m., after which there will be limited access to all campuses.
The Envision Athletic Centre in Abbotsford will remain open.
The UFV Campus Connector shuttle bus will continue operating until approximately 5 p.m..
Those who have made arrangements for a ride are asked to gather and wait at these locations:
• Abbotsford campus – the Spirit Bear Cafe (formerly the Road Runner Cafe) in building A or in the arium in the Student Union Building.
• Chilliwack Campus – the atrium of building A at CEP or the north entrance of the Trade and Technology Centre (TTC – building T).
