Flipped semi at Highway 11 and McCallum Road in Abbotsford

Incident took place just before 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday

A flipped semi on Wednesday morning closed down a portion of Highway 11 at McCallum Road.

A flipped semi on Highway 11 at McCallum Road shut down traffic in the area for several hours on Wednesday.

Abbotsford Police Const. Ian MacDonald said the incident took place just before 10:30 a.m., when the truck was travelling east on McCallum Road and made a left turn on to Highway 11.

MacDonald said the driver indicated that his load had shifted, causing the tail end to flip.

The 39-year-old driver from Abbotsford was not injured.

No further details were available, including what type of load the truck was carrying.
