Abbotsford Fire Rescue Services attended a trailer fire last Sunday night.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. a call came in regarding a vehicle fire on Gladwin Road, by Chehalis Drive. On arrival crews discovered an RV trailer engulfed in flames with the fire spreading to an adjacent home.
Although crews from Engine 1 and 6 were able to suppress the fire quickly, the RV trailer was a loss and the exterior of the neighbour’s house sustained heavy damage.
The cause of the fire is unknown. A fire investigator was on site and is currently working with the Abbotsford Police Department to determine a cause.
