A fire damaged a new home under construction in Abbotsford on Monday evening (July 5).

The blaze took place at about 7:15 p.m. at the corner of Hopedale Crescent and Victoria Street, west of Clearbrook Road.

Nobody was injured in the fire, and the cause has not been confirmed.

No further details are available at this time.
