A house in Abbotsford suffered extensive damage to the main floor in a fire early this evening (Friday).
Crews from Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service were called just after 5:30 p.m. to the residence on Broadway Street near Bevan Avenue.
Flames were shooting out the front and back of the home when they arrived, but crews quickly brought the fire under control and everyone got out safely.
Emergency Social Services is looking after the displaced residents. It is not yet known how many people live in the home.
The cause of the blaze is also not known at this time.
