Fire breaks out at home on Peardonville Road in Abbotsford

Blaze occurs Friday morning; damages second floor

A home was heavily damaged by fire Friday morning (Oct. 15) in Abbotsford.

The blaze broke out at about 8:40 a.m. at a two-storey home at 32373 Peardonville Rd., near Bevan Crescent and east of Clearbrook Road.

Crews arrived to find smoke and flames coming from the two sides of the house.

One person was taken to hospital by ambulance, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
