A 48-year-old female motorcyclist from Langley was seriously injured Tuesday morning when she collided with a semi truck waiting to make a left turn from Vye Road to head north on Sumas Way.
The truck had moved to the right to make room for a second truck making a right turn off Sumas Way, and the woman struck the semi as she attempted to pass on the right. She was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
