Abbotsford’s Hillside Events at Ledgeview Golf Club hosts the Fearless: Empowering Women event on Sunday (March 12).
It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features a female speaker panel, a leadership workshop, a mingle sip and shop, mimosa bar and brunch buffet.
Andrea Gibson, a self-compassion coach and motivational speaker, will be leading the workshop. Gibson is the creator and founder of Unconditional – the self-love movement where she helps women reconnect to their wants and needs inspiring them to enjoy life again and live intentionally.
The event will also feature live music from Vancouver-based artist Tess Anderson. Her music video Don’t Believe In won awards at Paris Cinema Awards, New Jersey Film Awards, and Prague Global Music Awards, as well as became a finalist at the International Music Video Awards, Lacorne International Film Festival and Silicone Beach Festival.
Proceeds raised from the event will be donated to the BeaYOUtiful Foundation, a Canadian charity that provides confidence and mental wellness programs for young girls ages eight to 14. The BeaYOUtiful Foundation also hosted the popular Inspired by Her Conference in Vancouver in January and Toronto in May 2022.
