Literacy Matters Abbotsford held a pancake breakfast to kick off the community reading challenge on Jan. 24 from 10 to 12 a.m. at Clearbrook Fire Hall (32270 George Ferguson Way).
The breakfast is followed by a family literacy day celebration, a free event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clearbrook Library and The Reach.
