Election Canada needs election workers for election day on Monday, May 2, 2011, in the riding of Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge-Mission.
A recruitment officer will be at the Mission Public Library, 33247 2nd Ave. in Mission, from 2-6 p.m. on Monday, April 11 to talk to anyone interested. Workers can earn at least $160 for the day.
Elections Canada would like to involve young people in the election process who are 16 years of age or older. You can also apply online at www.elections.ca.
