Abbotsford Police are looking for a man who robbed a 68-year-old woman in her home.
On Tuesday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m. the Abbotsford Police received a call from a man reporting that his mother had been robbed in her home in the 3000 block of Curlew Drive.
Moments earlier a South Asian man knocked at the front door of the victim’s residence. The woman opened the door and was immediately confronted by the man who communicated in English and Punjabi.
The suspect entered the home and remained there until the woman provided him with the cash she had on hand. The suspect fled on foot after obtaining the money. The victim suffered minor injuries to her arm and received treatment on scene.
The suspect is described as a South Asian man, 6’0” tall with a goatee. He was wearing a baseball cap, a green coloured shirt, blue jeans and black gloves.
