A recent break-in at the Canadian Cancer Society office in Mission may have caused the delay of some good news for an Abbotsford resident.
The CCS office was broken into on Jan. 16, with intruders stealing gift cards, donated prizes and cash. Amongst the items stolen were records of tickets sold for a recent WestJet Raffle. CCS officials now have no records of the tickets sold and are reaching out to the Abbotsford community to see if a local has the winning ticket.
“The WestJet Raffle was drawn on Friday, Jan. 22 and the winning ticket was 079 and unfortunately due to the break-in we do not know who had ticket 079,” stated Robert Frick of the CCS. “If you hold ticket number 079 please call the CCS at 604-533-1668 to claim your prize. Winner will be asked to prove that they are the winner by producing their stub.”
